Training of Dangerous Goods Drivers
According to Chapter 8.2 ADR, Basic Course

The course provides the knowledge that a driver of hazardous materials needs to have in order to carry out tasks and fulfil duties as required by the law and regulations. It also instructs the participants in the expertise required for obtaining the ADR certificate according to Chapter 8.2 ADR.
The participants will receive an ADR certificate for the transportation of individually packaged goods and bulk materials through regular attendance and by passing written tests conducted by the relevant Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Target Group:

People who transport hazardous materials in the various categories either as packaged goods or as bulk material loads that require registration, and who drive vehicles with a permitted maximum total load of more than 3.5 tonnes.

Subjects Covered:

General regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials, general features of the dangers, documentation, accompanying papers, registration and labelling, types of vehicles and transportation, circumvallation, equipment, the carrying out of transportation, duties and responsibilities, measures to be taken after accidents and incidents.

Course Module:

Basic Course: for all drivers required to undertake training,
19 UE + 1 UE Examination.


The ADR certificate is valid for 5 years. In the fifth year, an additional course must be attended. An exam also needs to be passed at the end of the training. The course can be undertaken up to 12 months before the expiry of the ADR certificate without shortening its validity.
